Nothing is cuter that a Mastiff puppy! Part of the reason we breed is to maintain our line and to produce our next generation of show dogs. Our goal is always to improve and to better with each generation. It takes lots of research, work, and sweat to breed and raise good dogs. Some say breeding is the easy part--raising your puppy to be a good canine citizen is the hard part and most time consuming. Training and socialization are key ingredients to having a happy, well-adjusted adult dog. The time we invest in our puppies rewards us with years of loving companionship. We stress this point to all puppy buyers--some listen and some don't.
So with that in mind--I am pleased to introduce to you the 2008 Rising Stars of Kiokee Mastiffs. We consider these youngsters to be our future and we see much success coming our way!
Kiokee Lionhearted Savin' Grace

Here is Gracie winning Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex from the 9-12 Month Class for her 1st Major (3-points) under Judge Mr. George Heitzman.

On June 7th, 2008 Gracie won Winner's Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex from the 9-12 month old Puppy Class for her second Major
(3 points) under Judge Beverley Eichel.
Gracie is our pick bitch from our Mona (Kiokee Daddy's Money) and Max ( Ch. Lionhearted Maximum Power CGC). We have begun her show career and she is doing very well in the ring. She has several reserves to majors, a Best Puppy win, and now has both her majors from the puppy classes.
CH. Kiokee Lionhearted Hope and a Prayer
Here is Hope winning her first points under Judge Paula Neigel going Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex from the 9-12 Month old Puppy Class.
Hope is Gracie's litter sister and is owned and shown by her owner Kodey Young of New Castle, PA. Hope has hit the show ring with a bang consistantly winning Winners Bitch or placing Reserve from the 9-12 month puppy class.
Here is Hope winning Winner's Bitch Under Judges Keke Kahn and Barbara Dempsey Alderman earning her Back to Back 4-point majors from the 9-12 month old Class!

Hope finished quickly completing her AKC championship in Canfield, Ohio on Sunday, August 3rd August from the Open Bitch Class with a 5-point win under Judge Charles Trotter.
What a great way to finish! I am so proud of Kodey and Hope--she finished in just four weekends out and 18 days after she turned 1 year old!
Look for Gracie and Hope's litter sister in the ring : Paris (Linfert's Pro Duc Tion of Kiokee) owned by Don & Martha Linfert of Cincinnati, OH. She is also pointed winning from the 9-12 month old Puppy class and is owner-handled by Don. Paris is also consistantly placing and winning Winner's Bitch and Reserve Winner's Bitch.
I am so proud of all three of these lovely Girls.
Kiokee Against All Odds
Gidget winning Best Puppy and Reserve Winner's Bitch ( for a 3-point major) under Judge Mr. Arley Hussin. What a big win on her first week end out showing! Shown here by Ms. Crystal Landreth of Pisgah Forest Mastiffs.
Gidget is our only surviving puppy from a litter of 10 that contracted Canine Viral Herpes; thus her name--Kiokee Against All Odds. She is out of our Boudi ( Ch. Morrigan's Celtic Queen of Kiokee) and Jenni Getz's Toby (Ch. Celtic's Aongus Mac Ogma).
She is such a happy-go-lucky puppy and it shows when she is in the ring. She very much has the personality of her dam--never stresses, loves people, and just can't wait to be in the show ring. She is built very much like both her dam and sire with a beautiful long, deep body. She has such depth and size for a puppy--it makes her head look little in size. In time as she continues to grow--all will even out--her dam did the same thing!
Look for her this Fall and Spring of 2009.
